MQtt integration with Smart Mac D105 Pulse Counter

Hi,

I am planning to install this pulse counter and I was wondering if I could also integrate this with the IAMMETER MQTT server, because the pulse counter device also has relay output to control other devices. It would be great if this pulse counter could trigger this relay based on MQTT messages from the IAMMETER platform.

I guess it depends if the topic and command syntax is compatible or configurable enough for it to work. Here also the MQTT setup guide:

1. Okay, thank you for the feedback. It's a shame that the Tasmota is not working stable, because it would be very useful for me.

2. Okay, then I'll wait until you manage to inplement other 3rd party mqtt integration. Would be great to be compatible with more services.
And as I mentioned before, if the Smart-Mac MQTT service would be integrated on your platform, then I could use one device to control everything I need.

Hi:

1 About the problem of tasmota.
we all do not so familiar with tasmota .Just one of our colleague bridge it to our mqtt and do some testing successfully.
we are only refer to its manual to try to use it and are not good at dealing with the problem of it.

2 About how to support other mqtt connecting.
we have indeed planed to support third-party mqtt connection, but this need some time.
The next feature will be released in the latest upgrading is support the mqtt uploading of WEM series products and real time data refresh in IAMMETER-cloud.
After these feature had been done. we will have some time to consider how to support the third party mqtt connection from IAMMETER-cloud.

Okay, but is there a chance that you can implement them?

It would be very convenient for me, as i would have all functions i need in one device.

Also the tasmota mqtt still doesn't work for me.

Not only the client id but also the topic format and data format parse. They are all not supported now.

Okay. So it's there any chance that you can add the client ID of this one other device to the broker so I'd be able to test it?

At present, our mqtt broker does only support its own client ID, but this is a more interesting thing, we will pay attention to this matter

I actually asked them already and you can't customize the topic. Does that mean it doesn't work with IAMMETER, or can I still publish to their topic through the IAMMETER MQTT broker? Because it seems that I can enter any topic I want in the notification trigger settings:

Or does your MQTT broker only allow topics that include the client ID generated on your platform?

I looked at it and it seems that it can’t modify the topic, please confirm whether this topic can be customized
