I have two use case ideas:
First, I have PV installation so we can detect a PV issue. It can be detected when no negative power is detected during the day.
The second is to detect overload depending on the time of the day. In my country there is two different shifts of contracted power load. The load protections are sized for the higher power load. If you are over the first thresshold but under the second. The load protections does not trigger but the company metter cuts the power.
Both use cases can be met with a power thresshold alarm or notification.
