I have purchase a 3 Phase iammeter and I have got it installed in my house. As the house is still in the final stages of construction, there are frequent Power Cuts.

I have noticed that, after a power cycle, The device will not connect to the wifi, I will have to again connect to the device (http://11.11.11.1) and put in the wifi password to connect.

FYI. After the power comes back, It takes around 2-3 mins for the router to broadcast the wifi signal.

Is this a problem? is the meter not retrying to connect? OR am i doing something wrong?

The device will try to connect to the router every 20min after reboot, which means even you do not set the wifi parameter again, it will connect to the router 20 mins later.

This problem is because the device has started faster than the router when power resume from failure.

when the device tries to connect to the router, the router is still not ready. So the device enters AP mode.
But the device will retry to connect the router every 20 mins when it is in AP mode.

Thank you

was not patient enough to wait for 20 mins 😀 . Will try it today again and update.

And one more question, During that 20 mins, The data which the device collects will it be pushed to servers as soon as it connects or is the data lost?

Sorry ,

The device does not have internal storage .So the data during the 20mins will be lost .

We once think this is a low possible scene(router and device both reboot, and device startup quickly than router). If there are a lot of users have met this problem ,we will plan to upgrade our firmware to solve this problem.

Good day!

I faced the same issue. I think it would be much better, if reconnect time out was 1 minute, or if it was configurable via admin panel. Please consider adding the feature or reduce 20 min to 1 minute.

Thanks for your suggestions, I will forward this to my RD colleagues.
