Hello,
I like to ask for some clarification for some field in the overview of a given day in a moth. The daily figures seem to be correct for the day in that month. But the monthly totals for both "exported" and "consumpted" remain the same during the whole month. Even at the first day of that month. At the top of the overview the same is observed for monthly, yearly and grand total and for both exported and consumpted energy.
How does it work or is this a fault in the software ? Please help to better understand /interprete the different fields in the overview.
Update:
Meanhile I have the answers, you cannot go back in the history for a correct reading of the month to date or year to date accumulated exported or consumped energy. Only the current date in the current month gives a correct reading of the month to date and year to date results.
Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Please attach a picture related to this issue (you can paste the picture directly here) and circle the specific data field in the image. This will make it easier for us to discuss.
To reduce server stress, not all data fields are refreshed in real-time.
For example:
- Monthly calculated data may be updated once per day.
- Daily data, however, is usually refreshed in real-time.
First picture:
Check viewed date (2025-03-09) and the corresponding total month energy for exported (105.95 kwh) and consumed (71.64 kwh) Compare with the view hereafter:
Second picture:
Check again the viewed date (2025-03-01) and the corresponding total month energy for both exported (105.95 kwh) and consumed (71.64 kwh) We observe that the totals have not changed because values have not been refreshed. If you push refresh the screen switches back to the latest date (2025-03-09).
Also at the top of both screens you same the same happens (no update) for month, year and totals.
Conclusion: Current date gives the correct values but any date in the past doesn’t give a year-to-date for the month, year and overall totals.
As already indicated in one of the answers received on my question, it has to do with refreshing frequency of those totals in order to avoid extra server load.
