Hi,

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, I did search but I didn't find anything.

I am looking for a local-only energy monitoring solution with some on-device data retention. I will integrate the device with Home Assistant for reporting and automations, etc, but I want to know that if the HA platform is down for a while I won't miss any data and I will be able to retrieve it later.

Can Iammeter do this without the cloud service, please? If so, how long is data retained for?

Thanks

hi

the energy meter can not store data inside.

we have some solutions that can help customers use the device locally(do not use IAMMETER-cloud)

Please refer to https://www.iammeter.com/newsshow/WEM3050T-utilize-open-source-interface

Normally ,the method for local storage is to use the local server ,not by the device.

If you cannot keep Home Assistant always available, there is a double confirmation solution. You can install IAMMETER-docker and save the data with both IAMMETER-docker and Home Assistant.
