I'm using the latest IAMMETER android app.

I have it permanently displayed on a tablet, however every time  I need to see the latest solar/load statistics, I need to refresh to app......is there a way to do this automatically?

How did you get the Android App to auto refresh? 

I would like to set up an Android tablet as permanent display as well.

I can't n see any setting changes to enable it.

Is their setting change need on the meter it self, or required firmware update?

Just keep in this page , and it will refresh automatically.

How often should it refresh? 

I'm using latest version of app 1.9.9, not auto refreshing, I have to manual refresh app.
