I am designing my Solar system and I want home/grid consumption monitoring.  

The inverter I am looking at is a GoodWe ET Hybrid Inverter.

My question is pretty simple, can the IAMMeter WEM3080T connect to the GoodWe ET over the RS485 cable?  I want the IAMMeter to be the primary software point for all data.  

I don't want to use any smart features of the GoodWe (SEMS portal).  I want all of those Cloud features off, while still pulling all Solar production data from the Inverter.

Sorry , IAMMETER`s product can not communicate with any inverter directly.

Maybe you can have a try with it.
