This is the reason that we do not provide such a feature.
The energy meter would stop uploading when it met some problems(Power supply or WLAN failure)
The energy meter will always try to reconnect the router and resume the connection the first time when the power or WLAN is back to normal.

Do you mean you met some problems that the network or the power supply would not resume automatically and want to use the email to alert , yes?
