Before that, please help us to describe why do you need this function,as detailed as possible.
It would be better to include
1 the specific scenario that you use the energy meter.
2 why do you need to analyze the hourly consumption the whole month.

If we think this function is meaningful for a lot of people (not just for very a little people), we would achieve it soon.
