I have 1 Goodwe 15 kw ongrid and a Deye 8 kw hybrid with 3 Pylontech UP5000 batteries.

Yes both come with their own apps and the Goodwe does not show energy consumed or exported, just what it produced.

The Deye app is more detailed as it shows the exported, imported energy as well as battery usage etc but it has a 10 min delay.

Your platform is the best solution I have seen in my 2 and a half years of searching.

I have one WEM3080 installed on the grid side and another installed on the Goodwe. The grid side 3080 also shows me what the Deye is exporting (on 1 phase since its a single phase inv). As you can see in the image the 3rd phase of the grid meter is exporting more than what the Goodwe is producing for that phase, this is because the Deye is connected to that phase and also exports.

I love the local monitoring over wifi feature. Hope you integrate it in the app in the future.

URL for the goodwe portal is

https://www.semsportal.com/home/login

And for the Deye portal its

https://home.solarmanpv.com/login

Both are free but like I said, the Goodwe portal is quite useless, Deye atleast has slightly better monitoring but with a big delay. Also the local wifi login for Deye using the Solarman app is extremely poor, it works but many issues incl refresh, hangs, restarts etc and most importantly it doesnt cover my Goodwe. The only good thing about Deye is that I can change all its settings when away from home (remotely) but I dont need to do that often.

1) Growatt 5000TL3-S Inverter.
2) I checked there portal, but it only shows the produces energy but I am interested in the direct-self consumption and also the general consumption of my house. That's why I added the two 3 phase meters from Iammeter. Since then I don't really check the Growatt Shine Portal/App anymore. The portal is for free.
3) I was considering buying an additional meter to integrate with Growatt, but it required the energy meter + RS485 bridge to connect to the proprietary Growatt Shine Hub, which then only connects to wifi. So it's three components needed just to get the energy meter data into their platform. This was super expensive and too many devices involved. Below the diagram of that setup:

4) They have an API to their portal, but I never checked it in more detail:

I have a SAJ 1F 5kw inverter, I use it via eSolar Air app, it is for free(bulit in Inverter price). It meassures Inverters performance and history only.. I use iammeter Wem3080 wich measures everything else what is missing from SAJ app..

If you are using an inverter in your system, please help us to answer such questions below.
1 which brand of inverter are you using?

Answer: Yes, I am using two brands of inverters: (1) Growatt 10 kW (2) Inverex Nitrox 5 kW Hybrid
2 Have you used the official inverter portal system? If so, please let me know the price of the portal hardware (dongle) and the portal URL.
Answer: Yes, the official portal system, has no price; it's free (note: the hardware cost includes the inverter purchased).

3 Have you purchased an energy meter that is compatible with your inverter before?
Answer: Yes, I purchased a separate energy meter to measure my power generation and Consumption

4 Is there an API provided by the inverter`s portal system?

Answer: No

Raza

I have a Wallbox pulsarPlus - single phase 7.5KW and would be interested in trailing the EV charging via Iametter OCPP, would you be able to enable my profile for this?

1 which brand of inverter are you using?

Answer: I am using Fronius Symo 8.2-3-M (three phase inverter).

2 Have you used the official inverter portal system? If so, please let me know the price of the portal hardware (dongle) and the portal URL.

Answer: Inverted portal system is free of charge but is very simple (history: 3 days, monthly and annually). There is an option for unlimited daily history - c.a. 25 EUR/year.

3 Have you purchased an energy meter that is compatible with your inverter before?

Answer: No. Your meters are much better.

4 Is there an API provided by the inverter`s portal system?

Answer: Yes. Fronius Solar API (JSON)

Hi:

This topic is about a survey of the solar inverter.

We are indeed want to integrate the wallbox ev charger , please post your issue on a new topic.
If you can help us to complete the experiment ,you would still have the chance to be the earlier customer

I have a Growatt 6KV inverter. It has a portal, app and I have managed to connect to the REST json api but I don't use it.

I have an iammeter on the utility supply side as I am mainly interested in the inflow/outflow and making sure I self consume as much as possible.

Dear,

1. I use Hoymiles inverter in array https://www.hoymiles.com/products/microinverter/.

2. Yes, I use inverter portal. URL is https://global.hoymiles.com/platform/login. Portal is free of charge. Only if you want to see export/import energy with combination of zero export solution you must buy meter.

I still use iammeter, because is more advanced for review consumption then inverter. Inverter portal is more suitable for controlling the inverter (zero export solution, panel power output,..). Only one thing that  i miss it by Iammeter is a quick overview of monthly or yearly annual consumption by hours.

3. Yes I must buy additional meter for RS485 cumunication.

If Iammeter can support cumunication between Hoymiles gateway DTU-Pro-S and meter via RS485 will be perfect solution.

4. No, I think there is no API. Integration can be simple over RS485.

 Best Regards,

David

Hello. Sunways 10 kW.

Now i have your meter but i don't think it is compatible with my inverter. I ordered the original sunways. It will take some time.

1. I use Sofar Solar 6KTLM-G2 (6KW)

2. I have get wifi dongle for free with inverter. Portal and monitoring is bad joke.

3. I have started with Iammeter

4. It is difficult to use the inverter's portal and I gave up.

I have a Deye 5KW inverter and a 10KW battery with solarman app

Deye 2KW microinverter with Solarman app.

Next step is likely to be Home Assistant for full solar data integration.

SMA Tripower 9000 stp 20

Both do have a Portal.

I used SMA only, deye I don't

As I am New to iammeter exploring the tools, I am planing to send the data of the inverters as following:

- Deye: Using ESPhome and modbus to read. Finally sending the data as MQTT to Cloud

Link: https://github.com/bagges/deye-esp32-bridge

- SMA: Using HomeAssistant to read data by Modbus TCP.  Sending data by HA to cloud via MQTT.

Unfortunately, open.iammeter seems to block me by constantly asking for a SN. Either I have done something wrong or I cannot test it without buying any Meter.
