NEM integration in Home Assistant Energy Management

I have two  iammeter energy meters (one unidirectional three phase for solar production measurement and one bidrectional three phase for grid measurement) Actually the system is setup and working/reporting correctly for years for NEM (Net Metering Metod) in the iammeter system.

However the integration of both iammeter energy meters in Home Assitant does only result in getting separate values for the three phases (various values for the three separate phases listed as variuos sensors). Consequently when setting up the dashboard in the Home Assistant Energy Management only the specific power sensors for each phase can be choosen BUT THERE IS NO POWER SENSOR SHOWN FOR THE COMBINED VALUE OF THE THREE FASES. However this combined power value (correctly set up for net metering) is available in the iammeter but apparently is not shown as sensor in Home Assistant integration.

Note : Actual values in the Home Assistant Energy dashboard (without having within Home Assistant this combined power value correctly set up for net metering) are actually shown correctly (by just adding up the three phase sensors), EXCEPT FOR CORRECT  VALUES FOR IMPORT/EXPORT GRID POWER RESULTING IN WRONG REPORTING EXPORTING Of SOLAR POWER and consequently wrong reporting  SELF CONSUMED % SOLAR POWER in Home Assistance Management dashboard.

Is there a way to get this combined power value (correctly set up and calculated for net metering) poperly integrated into Home Assitant?

Hi:

This is the introduction of the NEM(net energy metering mode) mode.

https://www.iammeter.com/docs/net-energy-meter

Before you turn on the NEM mode, there are only three columns of data.

After you turn on the NEM, there are four columns of data, the fourth column is the measurement result of the NEM mode.

I remember we do not support the fourth column data in the HA core integration of IAMMETER(When we merged in the HA core, the 3phase energy meter still had not supported NEM yet).
After the WEM3080T supports NEM mode, we can not merge our integration into the HA core anymore (we tried many times, but there are always no reviewers allocated each time).

If you want to read the fourth column data(NEM result) of the 3phase energy meter , please try to another method (mqtt, modbus/tcp or hacs), please refer to https://www.iammeter.com/docs/summary-home-assistant

Net Metering Metod is supported from ha_iammeter v1.0.12, which can be installed from HACS or manually (https://github.com/lewei50/ha_iammeter)

HACS integration as described under https://github.com/lewei50/ha_iammeter seems indeed to result in perfect reporting on NEM in Home Assistant Energy Management
