Team,

I am using Iammeter for a Months about and managed to use many of its features in standard PV environment. I am very satisfied with your device and cloud environment but would have some suggestions regarding the LED signs of the device -  kindly ask you to consider. (I full understand if some parts of my suggestions - based on 1F PV system and 3F (WEM3080T) Iammeter implementation - are too narrow to initiate general changes, but some of them can be implemented I think.)

  1. You have a very good documentation, but LED signs of your device is discussed in the community only I think. I suggest to add one section to your documentation about these LED signs PLS.
  2. I think the LED sings can be more clear than now
    1. Power LED on the right (Green if Powered as of now), what I suggest

                       i.      No lightning now power

                       ii.      Green lighting powered

iii.      Red lightning powered but out of standard Voltage rate (user should be able to set minimum and maximum Voltage range, like max 260V, min 220V according the standards in the country..

     2. WiFi LED on the left (red if linked to router, but red is bad, green is good… ), what I suggest

                   i.      No lightning – Iammeter is not linked to router, but it’s wifi is operating (like now)

ii.      Green – Iammeter is linked t Wifi router and has Internet connection (as of now it is red if connected to WiFi)

iii.      Red – Iammeter is linked to WifI but it has NO internet connection (it may have a meaning as well that iammeter’s base wifi is not working

       3. LED in middle – PV export or when Amper is more than 90grad ahead from Voltage (it is red as of now) – I suggest to make more clear as type of load (Current ia ahead or behind of Voltage)can be changed to frequently to get advantage of the signs of this LED.

                i.      No lightning – ??

ii.     Green – direction of Current is in line with sensor setting. (K->L) at all sensors

iii.    Red – direction of Current is backwards compared to sensor setting at any of the sensors. (L->K) - in PV environment it would mean Export in normal 3F environment without PV it could be a sign of an issue

I think it would help Support as well, as  as I see many of your questions are cause by wrongly installed sensors...

Thanks, Gabor

Thanks, Gabor, I will forward your suggestion to my colleague responsible for the product design.
